Hubbard Inn & Holiday Parties
The Hubbard Inn in River North has always been i of our favorite confined in River North. While it is on Hubbard Street, information technology's a nicer space than most of the other bars on the street. It feels more grown upwardly. The space is filled with giant wreaths tied with aureate bows, decorative oversized ornaments, and garlands. I was thrilled to partner with Hubbard Inn for the Windy City Blogger Commonage'south almanac vacation party.
They generously provided their tertiary-floor space along with food and drinks for the 75 party guests. I have been throwing this political party for three years now and Hubbard Inn was a breeze to piece of work with. They replied to each question and request quickly and enthusiastically, and it made throwing a big party during my busiest time of the year so much easier.
At the party, Hubbard Inn's bartenders mixed up succulent cocktails like the Rum Erstwhile Fashioned made with Mount Gay Rum, Luxardo Cherries, Demerara Carbohydrate, and Orange Bitters.
The Fig Sidecar, made with Remy 1739, Cointreau, Lemon, and Fig Preserve was every bit wonderful.
Our friends at Paris312 provided some decor in the class of their giant balloons with tassels. That's Ashlee and Caitlin posing in the photo.
Each year we invite some small-scale local businesses to have pop-upwards upwardly shops at the event. And recently, we joined friends for brunch at Hubbard Inn. It was the perfect identify to catch up with friends over a leisurely brunch. The Bears game was on in the background as we feasted on a pub-style brunch. Charles opted for the burger, which he loved.
